"Kolberg Percussion" is an owner-managed, second-generation family business and an internationally active manufacturer of high-quality orchestral percussion (timpani, drums, etc.) and orchestral equipment (music stands, orchestra chairs, conductor's plattform, etc.). 3D composition for webshop There are expressive picture compositions of a Canadian orchestra (attachment). For the relaunch of our webshop we would like to create images with a similar impression. These will be prominently presented on the start page in the hero-Element (see attachment "Bildschirmfoto 2"). The pictures from the template are actually perfect in their impression and colour play . But of course we are not allowed to use them like this. That's why we need you. GOAL: The task is to create one of these two 3D backgrounds that takes up the style, the colours and, if possible, some elements of these templates ("Bildschirmfoto 2"). As you can see in the attachment, the pictures are divided into the two portfolio lines "Percussion Instruments" and "Orchestra Equipment". Wich you choose for the competition is up to you. STYLE The whole thing should have a iconic, timeless look, as in the example, which on the one hand shows width/space, and on the other hand looks very exklusive and valuable (pls try to find a good balance between surreal and real). The use of colour, light, shadow, shapes & space should become a stage that can present the musicians with their instruments in a dignified manner and in accordance with the original. We will then take high-end-pictures with musicians and put them in the foreground/backround. -> It is only about the background, not about presenting a finished picture including models. However, you need to experiment with how it might look with models afterwards. This way we can make sure that the pictures are not "too full" and works with the models/products and the text. Ideally you send us examples with models/instruments in it, too. Make sure the it is not to full and please also put a strong focus on colour-, light- and shadow play. You are welcome to use elements from the original (not have to and not to much), for example: – Curtains – Stairs – Pillar – Arches Please use colour areas as in the examples. MATERIAL & IDEAS You will find some clippings of some products as well as a few self-made experiments with pictures of a staff member (Note - these self-made experiments are not intended to be a template for implementation!). MORE DESIGNS NEEDED! The most convincing designs will also have the opportunity to collaborate on further backgrounds, as we will need more variations for the shop. As you see we need at least TWO designs – for the hero and plan to do the second one next wich have to work as a couple with the first design.
