How to send the 3D drawings:
Part design reviews are performed to determine the part “moldability” and fitness for use of the proposed copolyester resin. Features such as wall thickness, part radius, aesthetics, draft angles, and required flow length are typically reviewed.
Required Inputs – Part geometry can be obtained with either a 2D drawing file of DWG or DXF file extension, or a 3D part model file. We currently use Solidworks for 3D model construction, viewing, and manipulation. Although most common 3D model file types can be translated into Solidworks, the following are the most desirable 3D file formats – SLDPRT (Solidworks Part), STP (Step), X_T (Parasolid), STL (Stereolithography), or IGS (IGES).
