We have completed the development of our YachtLog software "under the hood", but now require a designer to apply a nice design style to the interface.
This job includes screen styles, icons, typesetting and logo tweaks. Initially we need an interface mocked up in photoshop for a couple of screens which we can then use as a template guide to apply programatically.
The software runs only on Windows, so would like it consistent with the OS and other Microsoft programs.
We like Outlook style icons, navigation bar (see attached examples), background fades / colors and screen layouts etc and would like to go in that direction if at all possible.
Icons in the top bar can be original or from an existing library (famfamfam etc) set as long as the original icon developer is ok with it and as long as they are intuitive and fit very well with the Outlook style. No sense in reinventing the wheel.
Logo is attached (Slightly modified Georgia typeface). It will be used standalone, but we are ok for it to be tweaked to fit into the design (color, size, stylizing etc). This should be positioned in the top of the left pane if you can make it look balanced. Otherwise we are open to ideas or leave out entirely.
The basic layout dimensions will need to be kept, but apart from that all we are looking for is two professional, clean interface templates showing logo, icons, typeface styles for content areas and backgrounds.
There is one layout screenshot attached which shows the basic dimensional layout. The software scales to fit screen sizes, but the left pane (width) and icon bar (height) are set.
We have attached several toolbar examples from the current build to give an idea of the icon items required. This is just for reference as we are looking for the outlook style as in the other examples.
