We are a training and consulting company for the electronics industry. Basically we provide solder training and IPC (our licensing body) certification to folks that assembly electronic components on to printed circuit boards. Our web site is http://www.eptac.com. We training predominately through the United States and Canada.
¿Qué te inspira y qué diseño imaginas para tu empresa?
Each year we run banner ads in various trade emailed newsletters and on web sites that are specific to the electronics industry, announcing the availability of our new yearly schedule, in this case 2013. They are in a nutshell, getting boring. There are seven sizes and I have attached the ones we ran last year. The 70x55 and 120x99 can be static and do not have to be animated or GIF files. The other ones can if you choose in your design to get the message across. Basically we want to get them to click to download the lasted schedule of classes and offerings at EPTAC.
We are looking for something cool, that gives us a professional image and at the same time is different enough to makes us look like something you want to learn more about. I like simple designs with white space, that is not heavy with graphics. Because of the different sizes, you need to watch what is designed so that it can be shaped to fit. We have gone to simpler designs for the smaller ads, (70x55 and 120x99), i.e. different from the larger ones, just so that we could create something cool in the larger ones. The trick is to create something interesting for what can be a boring industry at times.
Remember, if you create an animated ad, the first frame really has to have the message. The reason is, that some of these ads are sent in emails and opened in Microsoft Outlook and they will not animate, so the frame they see is the first one only. The files have to be kept to a minimum in size between 50k-60k because of load speeds and size of newsletters.
Sounds cliche, but thinking outside the box is encouraged. The rest of our competition and industry sure doesn't. Need our larger logo, just let me know...
