Preptel partners with job boards, such as Monster.com, to provide resume optimization services. We have a new partner, HigherEdJobs.com, who will feature us in the banner advertising. We need 3 banner ads we will a/b test on their site. Attached are previous banner ads. The goal of the banner ad is to convert users to paying subscribers.
The banner ad specifications are:
File Format: GIF (we do not accept IFRAME or Flash ads)
Image Dimensions: 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high
Maximum File Size: 32 KB
Context to help develop the ad:
User Profile: For this opportunity, we target job seekers with a college education, generally making over $40K per year, and applying for jobs at Universities, Colleges and other educational institutions.
Situation: The job seeker comes to Higheredjobs.com to find a job on their job site. The job seeker searches for jobs. The job seeker clicks on a job to read the job description regarding the details of the job. Ads will be shown at the top of the site as well as below the job description. We can control ad placement so we can target ads when someone is viewing the job description.
User Mind Set: Job seekers believe they are qualified, good, hard working, employable people. They are frustrated with the job market. They view job seeking as daunting, difficult, and a low percentage effort. They don't trust recruiters or anyone trying to sell them services because they believe they don't work. They would love to have an advantage but not sure what advantage they can get. They don't want to waste time, but will apply to jobs they are under or over qualified for just in the hopes of getting a job.
