The Gourmet Games is a food, wine and spirits experience like no other. It's a like a carnival for the senses where consumers can go to our tasting gallery to try 75 different wines & spirits, taste our products with food from award-winning chefs, or partake in a series of games that educates, entertains, and informs. We target consumers who are highly engaged in food, wines and spirits. And our event aims to rise above a typical event in a way that makes a lifelong impression. We require a group of banner ads in the following sizes (one design versioned per the sizes):
o Leaderboard 728w x 90h
o Big Box 300w x 250h
o Skyscraper 160w x 600h
o Newsletter 525w x 225h
Each of the finished banners should be 100K or less.
The banners ads need to communicate the following (in priority order):
1. Headline: A Food & Wine Experience Like No Other
2. Subheaders. We have a good deal of value to communicate to the consumer so we want to see scrolling copy (or flashing in succession) in some of the banners. See attached copy. In summary, consumer will have a chance to taste 75 wines and spirits from around the world. Many of these products have been rated 90 points and higher by leading critics. We need to find a way to get across to the consumer that a ticket to the Gourmet Games exposes them to a very high value event in the sense that the calibre of the producers is very consistently high.
3. Involvement of key wine experts John Szabo and Sara D'Amato from WineAlign.com as Masters of Ceremonies and Cocktail Guru Robin Goodfellow from Bar Raval.
As the event is called the Gourmet Games we want to communicate the fun aspect of the event. It's not just a wine tasting. It's an experience with some of the world's best producers.
Due to the numerous key selling points on these ads, it would be acceptable to have different messages appear on the various sized ads. IE the sky scraper could focus on the three wine experts who will be at the show (Szabo, D'Amato, Goodfellow) while the big box focuses on the various highly rated wines at the show.
They key is to ensure the ads are consistent with a look, headline, date/time/location for the event.
