In Book One it is snowing in Florida in Northern rural area. I like the idea of a night scene, snow, oak trees. Or one big coak tree with snow. Two small children are main characters. Maybe a subtle outline of children in the background. Oak tree should have branches above but also strong exposed root system. This is important to the plot. Dark midnight blue color and snowflakes. Bold but not too busy. Strong use of color and light.
