I write fiction books for middle school-grade kids, ages 9 to 13.

I've written a book titled Do Over, which is about a thirteen-year-old who's reliving the two days leading up to a fire which, unless he can stop it, will destroy his house and kill his dog. I want a cover that conveys terror and abandonment, the insatiable hunger of fire, and the idea that everything changes. That last is the book's central theme.
The main character, Ben, is also afraid of heights. And his has a dog, a Westie.
This quote by Tennessee Williams appears in the book twice: “We all live in a house on fire, no fire department to call; no way out, just the upstairs window to look out of while the fire burns the house down with us trapped, locked in it.”
I offer this for further inspiration.
