Descripción del libro
For centuries humans have wondered if biological organisms including ourselves are completely defined and run by physical forces. There has been no way to resolve whether the mind has any degrees of freedom to act on its own. Now, at last, we have a tool to take on the challenge and address mystery of the mind. The Selection Effect chronicles a long-term research study that shows how humans can be trained to perform a task that breaks this tight symmetry of brain and mind. In the process, a new understanding of both nature and human reality emerges, with implications for each of us personally as well as society.

See attached PDF of covers we like. Also, we like a bold title, solid colors, and perhaps a teaser image that demonstrates a principle of the book. See attached examples with ice cream cones and other covers with images.
