I was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. I was born at a little over four pounds and was extremely ill. I was rushed by ambulance from one hospital to another where I would be resuscitated twice and not expected to survive. Growing up, I was a happy little girl who loved ballet. I wanted to become a doctor, but after losing my mother, I really struggled with what I wanted to do. My passions are writing and being anywhere near the ocean. I have worked in education for the last fourteen years, and became a proud military wife. My greatest achievement is becoming a mother to three of the most amazing children. As a mother we often think about the lessons we need to teach our children, but sometimes it becomes about the lessons they teach us.

Descripción del libro
The day my Mother died, the last thing she said to me was she wanted the baby's middle name to be Celeste. I was 7 months pregnant at the time. That day I drove home, I decided Amarissa Celeste she would be. Celeste means heavenly, and little did I know the relation her name would have to her life. I write my faith being tested on many occasions one of which were when my daughter at age 12 spent 42 days fighting for her life, diagnosed with Lupus. At her worst, she told me she did not want to die, so I told her she had to fight, and she did.

I have a few ideas:
1. A young girl (age 12 with brown hair) at bottom of stairs looking up towards bright light (heaven)
2. A young girl (age 12) representing strength (lupus color is purple and symbol butterfly). She had a choice to let go or fight and she chose to fight.
I am open to your ideas and interpretations
Lo que debe evitarse
Please no cartoon like drawings or children's book looks. If your not sure of the girl please make sure in the image she has dark hair and looks like a pre-teen.
