A fable about lessons in life that we forgot. 5 People on a plane on the way to a birthday party for their tailor. They recall the simple life lessons that he helped them remember and apply. Lessons include awareness, surrender, being vs doing, sonder, and separation (we are all connected). The narrator meets each person one by one. none of the men have met before. it's an uplifting story in a time of challenge. some of the stories will discuss sex, sexual identity, drug use, politics, violence in our culture, and climate change. The book starts to answer the questions of what does the second half of an adult man's life looks like.

This book is targeted at men between the ages of 35-65. The author and one of the characters are gay, yet it's not a book about being gay. It's for men who are moving into the second half of adult life and wonder is that all there is. Women will also enjoy this book for its depiction of men who want more in life and in their relationships.
