When You Don't Have Time
I need a cover for a 31 day devotional for busy people.
Each day is divided into a Bible scripture reference, a short story or scenario related to the scripture and then a short prayer.
I want the cover to be eye catching enough that someone would be interested in looking at it even if the title wasn't on the cover, but be simple enough that it doesn't become distracting. Since people have busy lives, I want to convey a feeling of calm but I do not want any clouds like what we see on many books of this type. I like colors like blues, whites, greys, blacks but I am open to other colors that could convey this feeling. My target audience is women but I don't want it to be so frilly that a man would not feel comfortable reading the book.
On the back of the book, I would like
1. 2 testimonials (to be provided to the selected designer later), social media icons for
2. facebook, twitter, instagram and periscope.
3. A photograph of the author
I would like the logo that is attached (DDJ - Debra D Jones) on the back also but perhaps surrounded by a border/box?
