I'm thinking of a cover with a romantic aspect (male and female embracing) but NOT overly sexualized. Darker theme. Since main female character is a bodyguard, would prefer to have a gun visible, either being held by her or in a holster on her body. Male character should be in a suit or jeans and a solid color tshirt. Female character has brown hair and should probably be in black pants and a dress shirt. Open to suggestions.
Targeting a 5x8 paperback, with an estimated spine width of 0.9".
For reference, here is some text from the book describing the female character (Ryan):
"She wore the same suit and jacket as the older man, but it had a much more feminine touch of alteration. Despite the suit, Ethan could easily tell that she was incredibly lean and thin. Though she was tall, had she been a little taller, she could easily have the body of a model. Not a Victoria’s Secret model, but one of those like you see on the runway; she seemed to be lacking in certain areas that were necessary for a lingerie model.
He had to admit, he hated her hair. She had offset bangs that swept more to her left than her right. The rest was so tightly pulled into a ponytail that not a strand looked out of place. If she were to let her hair down, it would probably fall somewhere below her shoulders. Boring. It wasn’t feisty like Allison’s, nor was it long and wavy like many of his conquests.
Ethan couldn’t tell much from her face as most of it was hidden behind the darkest aviators he could imagine. Her skin was light and smooth; she obviously didn’t bother with lipstick. "
Here is some additional information about the male character (Ethan):
He's about 30, masculine and rugged features, no piercings or tattoos, dark "messy" and occasionally "spiky" hair, scruffy face, and should a face be used, green eyes
