I'm looking to design a new cover for my book called "Free Speech Isn't Free: How 90 Men Stood Up Against The Globalist Establishment---And Won".
It's part-memoir and part-expose about how the media and political establishment (particularly in Canada) tried to shut down my lecture tour in 2015 because of false charges that my speeches were hateful. The speeches were for masculine men who believe in traditional ideas about masculinity.
I fought back against the attempts to shut down the speeches and held them successfully in Germany, England, USA, and Canada. The most intense outrage happened in Montreal and Toronto.
In addition to sharing the story of how I conducted the speeches, the book analyzes the "globalist" agenda that dominates the Western world, and how it's a way to control humans and decrease the population. I believe I was attacked because I went against this agenda.
For the cover, I would like to focus on the free speech aspect since it will match the title. Possible ideas:
1. Putting a bear or lion in a cage and having him break out of it
2. Having a small army of 90 men face the mob in front of a popular Montreal or Toronto landmark
3. A scene of 90 men on one side against a huge army of weak people, as if it was a war on a battlefield
You are free to try a different concept. If you want to do a cartoon image of me, this is how I look like:
If you include a lion or bear, use a depiction where its strong but not aggressive. Neutral expression is fine. Examples:
Lion 1: https://c8.staticflickr.com/4/3112/…e04d_b.jpg
Lion 2: http://africageographic.com/wp-cont…unning.jpg
Bear 1: http://i2.mirror.co.uk/incoming/art…y-Bear.jpg
Bear 2: http://travel4wildlife.com/wp-conte…rbear1.jpg
I attached the template for the cover.
POSTSCRIPT: One idea for a minimalist design is a white background with a hanging bird cage in the middle and a bear trapped inside. The cover would suggest that a bear is about to escape from the cage.
POSTSCRIPT 2: Another concept is to show a group of protesters with their hands out and me giving parts of myself, sort of like Mr. Potato head. I am sacrificing himself, but at the same time, my voice is being heard, and my free speech is being exercised.
