The following blurb for the back of the book may help define audience and provide inspiration:
Finding justice as a
criminal lawyer in Baghdad has never been easy.
Dr Sabah Aris knows this more than most. In a career spanning fifty
years, Dr Aris has been shot in the head, forced to brandish a revolver in
court, witnessed an act of cannibalism and wrestled a bear. And if acting on
some of Iraq’s most notorious cases left his life at risk then working during Saddam
Hussein’s regime, as Iraq slipped into outright mayhem, was a different matter

A memoir like no other,
Dr Aris’ experiences in Baghdad prove that sometimes justice cannot just be
found; sometimes it must be fought for.

I would a book cover for a self published autobiography. The book will detail true stories from the courtroom of Iraq.
A clean design that shows the fragility of justice, whist also highlighting in a subtle manner the unique setting of the book.
Feel free to use the scales of justice, the Iraqi flag, or most other illustrations you deem appropriate to convey the message. Please refrain from using images of the army or Saddam Hussein.
The title of the book is 'Fighting for justice' with a subtitle of 'true stories from the courtroom of Iraq' .
As a guide refer to popular books with courtroom themes.
It would also be great to see designs modeled on well known legal thrillers or thrillers in general, such as John Grisham and Robert Harris books.
It was my mistake, but I forgot to mention that the writer of the book is in fact "Dr. S. Aris" and not myself, Edward Arees. Apologies for the error. I will comment on the work as soon as I can. Thanks.
