I am a dedicated teacher and an attentive researcher. Having mastered the art of doing research in three very diverse countries, I am now focusing on lending a helping hand to those young folks who wish they could achieve and accomplish more. My new mission is to revitalize, inspire, and galvanize PhD students at attaining much more, using less resources, and in much less time.

I like to pass on my extensive knowledge and resilience to both those PhD students who struggle and those you need a small kick in the butt from time to time.

Typically, the audience would be PhD students. Most PhD students are relatively young (mid twenty to early thirty). However, there are PhD students much older than that as well. Other potential portion of the readership could come from young Lecturers who wish to use the book as an additional source of know-how and inspiration for guiding their own PhD students. I would assume this book could be sold worldwide, despite my initial target market would be the UK. If successful, I would then probably make a new edition and try to break into new geographies. This book is one of the tooks I wish to offer as services to PhD students. I see this book as a kind of FLAGSHIP.

With the book cover I like to depict the idea that a PhD is a special degree that has the potential to literally catapult a person in the future. So, I was thinking of using an old fashioned Roman catapult such as the one in the appended picture (taken from Google search engine). By the way, I do not want to pay any other money for using published images or any artwork. This is why I am paying you guys, instead. The student seeking a PhD would sit in the scoop of the catapult being loaded. The same person not enrolled on a PhD program would walk beside the catapult and the idea is (this is down to you how to portray it) that the catapult can 'fire' a person much farther ahead. I also like to use the 'PhD' in the title of the book in a creative way, standing out of the other words of the title. I can see that the 'D' is like the loaded bow. A mirrored 'P' is the scoop of the catapult. And 'h' is a person. Maybe these three letters could be bend a bit in different directions to give the idea of a catapult with a man inside of it.
