The book will be called Activators – A CEO’s Guide to Thinking, Behavior and Getting Things Done
This is a practical business book written for CEOs running high growth small and mid-sized firms. My “ideal” CEO reader is already successful and is very mindful of creating Freedom, Legacy and Abundance through their work and in their lives. These emotions resonate with them.
The premise of the book is that we’re swamped as business leaders with information and resources that tell us “what” we should be doing and “how” we should do it (think books, conferences, peer groups, etc.). What’s missing is understanding “why.” Why is it that it’s so hard to get things done? Make things happen? Actually execute on what we already know we should be doing? The reason is that our brains literally get in the way. Activators is a practical guide to help CEOs understand and overcome this ever-present, very human obstacle to their performance and results.
Through my research and experience, I’ve identified 3 Hidden Growth Killers – Motivators, Habits and Beliefs – that render our Business Minds much less effective than the ideal.
