I have been working on ideas with my incredibly limited photoshop
People really like the video player title idea (I do too) but they all
prefer the spotlight cover in general. I wonder if there's any way to
combine the two without it looking to busy?
I like the idea of reflecting the papers as in the ship version
(without misspelling exclusive!) and I'm looking forward to seeing
what you all come up with!
NOTE: I really like the Christopher Brookmyre style designs also, I've

The plot is as follows (spoiler alert!):
Alex and Jo spend their last night at sea and travel to their
respective family homes. Alex will soon join a large cruise firm and
secure Jo a berth.
Jack wakes with a hangover and a stranger in his bed. He’s unaware
that his guest has filmed him taking drugs and plans to use the
footage against him.
Wendy auditions and is cast in a West End show.
Jo takes on various part time jobs. Alex receives an immediate ship
position and they argue. During the medical, Alex is diagnosed with
diabetes and can’t work at sea.
Alex becomes depressed, Jo visits and they argue again.
Wendy meets and connects with neighbour Dr Dan.
Alex decides to become a stand-up comedian. His gig is a disaster and
Jo leaves to move in with Wendy. Jack pays the drug blackmailer
Jo goes to Wendy’s premiere and meets Kieran, from boyband iCandy.
The two join Wendy at the after party.
Alex visits a recruitment agency. On the street, he is interviewed
for a toothpaste advert and impresses director AJ.
Dan admits Jack is his twin; Wendy and Jo are shocked.
The agency has no work for Alex. He suffers a blood sugar ‘crash’
and the office staff help him to recover.
Jo takes a job in a call centre.
Jack is forced to pay his stalker regular payments.
AJ invites Alex to a bingo channel screen test. Alex gets the job and
asks Jo if he can move in. Jo officially ends their relationship.
Kieran and Jo begin dating. She resigns to become an iCandy dancer.
Jack’s phone is hacked the scandal erupts. He is fired.
The bingo channel fails but Alex stars in toothpaste ad campaign. The
media compare him to Jack and joke that he should take his vacant job.
Alex lands the role.
Alex presents Boom and becomes famous. He is asked to sing on
Children In Need with iCandy.
Jack becomes a late night sidekick on RockOut Radio. Jo publicly ends
her relationship with Kieran.
Dan proposes but Wendy turns him down; they remain happy together.
Kieran riles Alex during Children In Need. Alex punches Kieran during
the live performance and goes back to his family in disgrace.
Jack cements a regular role on the radio.
Jobless Alex visits a comedy club with Jo and Zoe. He is invited
onstage, does well and is promised a regular paid gig.
Jo and Alex agree to get back together after the iCandy tour.
