Diseño de inspiración
I like the colors, the lack of clutter, the highly visible title that can be seen while browsing and the easily read subtitle.
I like the unique design approach and bold title. I did not care much for the off matches of color between the lighter and darker blue.
I like the highly visible title and easily read subtitle as well as the simplicity of the design.
I like everything from the colorful, clean design and the easy to read title and subtitle
I Like the big visible titles, the subtitle that pops out of the page and the clean design.
I like the creative image design with the house smiling. I don't like the difficulty in reading the subtopic even though I really like the orange color.
I like the images, the bold title and the cleanliness of the design. I like the colors too.

Otros requisitos relativos al color
I'm partial to orange, but it's not a deal breaker by any means. The page I originally put up where I used the enclosed book mark is at jeffmckoy.com. I don't think it was a bad page, but I know that I can do better and having a better book cover is part of it.

Necesidades de diseño
I'm looking for maybe a 5 x 7 inch book size with a warm and connected tone. The was written for my two sons and meant to be a guide through life and learned experience. It has an intimate and personal tone that is intended to inspire and provoke to action. I want something that will grab attention and stand out on a shelf or amongst other books. I want a prominent title and subtitles. i.e. How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie or The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. I use a lot of imagery relating the control of your life to taking command of your ship.
Lo que debe evitarse
I don't want a busy book cover. Nothing should take attention away from the title, and subtitle. Avoid clutter as much as possible. I want the book to stand out with larger visible wording that can be read on Amazon Thumbnails.
This was a book mock up cover that I designed for free online. I liked it, but I'm hoping to get better as I only get one chance to make a first impression.
I like the color choices, the contrast, the simplicity, the clean look and skewed angle of the design.
