There’s the person that has had a complete career, thought probably they were going to retire, and now can’t afford to and thinks ‘wait a minute, maybe I can do some consulting part time.’ 3. The third one is a guy that has a business that’s existing, provides a product already, and has been thinking about doing consulting as another revenue stream, and wants to know how to do that. 1. Sex: Female 2. Age: 35-55 3. Occupation: Entrepreneur – large business owners have also expressed an interest. Learn from a guy made all the mistakes and has helped clients not make these mistakes for 32 years. It’s not as hard as you think. You can definitely do it. Improve what they do – person that wants to, and doesn’t think they can, or think they know how. Should hire a trusted advisor. Will remove the risk of moving forward. Removes the fear of risk. In my workshop – 50/50. Women definitely received it stronger than men did. Women are more apt to say I didn’t know that already. 4. Income: wants: $60k range has one: $85k+ 5. Education: some college to a degree 6. Top fears and frustrations: Failure.

Book title: The Winning Formula: How To Finally Get Paid For Your Knowledge & Experience Author name to appear on cover: Mark D. Katz Binding type: paperback Trim Size: 5x8 Laminate type: Matte I am a business strategist. I want a cover that is aligned with his branding colours, so that grey and maroon colour. The burgundy we use isn't a pantone, but the closest match to it is 1815 C. And the closest grey is: It is originally a 60% Tint of Grey. The closest pantone match is Pantone Cool Grey 9 C (it’s a little more blue than neutral but it’s extremely close to it). Is there any symbol or imagery that I like? No - We brainstormed a little what would be a graphic related to the winning formula? People that want to read this book are looking to be successful, so... what is an image that would grab them? And the first things that come up are like an Olympic gold medal. But that doesn't work with respect to business. Then we thought about yachts and all the cliched things related to success and wealth. But those are too obvious. We don't want those. One of my clients said, "For me, the subtitle of 'finally getting paid for your knowledge and experience' portrays a certainty and authority and know-how that I finally know how much to charge; I have a clear process for courting my future clients and effectiveness at turning them into clients who love and respect me. That is what I have gotten out of working with mark Katz." We feel the subtitle does a good job of explaining that process and exactly what the book is about. So.... while that's the feeling we are wanting to portray.... how do we communicate that with an image? And we are not sure we know how. Are you able to do that with the right image? And we are not sure, so we would like to leave that up to your creative genius. What emotion or feeling would you like a reader to immediately feel when they see your cover? Power Confidence Curiosity What do you want your personal brand to be known for? Trustworthy Experienced Wise Anything else the designer should know with regards to how you'd like the final book to appear? Image should support/be tied to "The Winning Formula", and be less about the 'Strategy" Surprise me in terms of cover design. I would like to let you be creative.
