FOR THE FRONT COVER:
--Lettering: I want the title, subtitle, and author’s name on the front cover. However, the book TITLE and AUTHOR’S NAME should be in BIG LETTERS on the front cover…bold, visible and impressive looking when viewed as a thumbnail on Amazon. The subtitle obviously can be much smaller, but should be on the cover as well.
--Cover image or mood: This book is the third book in my “HR Secrets” series… so the cover should look AS MUCH LIKE THE FIRST TWO BOOKS AS POSSIBLE (which you can find at HRRESUMESECRETS.COM and HRINTERVIEWSECRETS.COM). This book cover can have some tiny tweaks that will distinguish it slightly from two books -- but it should look like it’s in the same series (black cover, “HR” big and bold on the cover, no cover image). This book is non-fiction and for a business audience. It should appeal to both business women and men. The lettering should be should stand out from the cover since the cover is black. Since this book is on a serious/important business topic, please stay away from wacko or cartoonish treatment of the “HR” on the cover. Even though this cover will contain mostly words, please find a way to get creative with this. I don’t need anything super over-the-top, just something that catches the eye and inviting. However, please be creative and use your artistic expression – especially on the “THE NEW HR LEADER’S FIRST 90 DAYS” title lettering on the cover.
