Necesidades de diseño
No images - will be text-only cover (back and front). It's the third edition of an established book but will need to be clearly distinguishable from both previous editions. It has a bold title, so will need a strong cover. The title must be dominant - it has recognition in the market - the subtitle is explanatory (makes sense of the title) so must be conspicuous and strongly supportive of title. Mood is serious but not dour - I am open to limited, creative use of color, including colors beyond the primaries (though I am not mandating this). Front cover must be striking but not look like a street poster, not 'cheap' or amateurish. Book is 6x9 inches. I have attached two 'sample covers' files: 'Interesting Book Covers' and 'Unshakeable Cover' - NOT to be duplicated, just to show typography that I feel works well on books having similarities with Not One Dollar More! Two previous editions of NODM are also shown. The 'Unshakeable' cover uses a short testimonial on front; in the copy for my book I have included three short testimonials that might be used in this way (all three preferably, or, if not, two); this will make more sense when you see my copy file.
Lo que debe evitarse
No stock image or image trickery. As I mentioned - a creative typographic cover, back and front - unless a designer can change my mind on this (I am open). In response to your later question about using stock images, I am saying 'Not sure' only to stay open to a designer who might want to change my mind on using an image(s) of some sort - it's unlikely but let's see.
