Through his work as an Open Custody Young Offender youth worker and a former Federal Parole Officer of 28 years. Rod has gained valuable experience in the area of social science and humanities. Rod specializes in Cognitive skills and behavioral addictions. He has supervised some of the most dangerous offenders in Canada. Rod is a Police Race relations awards winner, a former member of the Mayor's Race relations committee. A member of several associations involving Self-Esteem and the education of young children. A creator of the Get R.E.A.L. program and the producer of Getting R.E.A.L. TV finalist award. Presently Rod is the founder and co-owner of Aftershok Performance Fitness along with being a motivational speaker with a message of both living and moving with purpose.
