I left my home country, Greece, at the age of 18 to study mechanical engineering in Germany. I reached my first dream goal at the age of 21, when I got accepted to my dream university, RWTH Aachen, one of the best universities in Europe for mechanical engineering. The path to this dream was not easy: I had to learn German, build a new social circle and a new life in a foreign country, get good notes, learn how to create a successful application, get industrial experience and much more. I achieved all of this within 3 years, when I finished my Bachelor studies and applied for a master degree at the RWTH Aachen. I reached my second dream goal at the age of 24, when I got a dream job as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft e.V. There I get the pleasure to strive for my doctor title and be creative every day of my life.
