Here is a confidential description of the book:
Anna is a young woman in love with a man who has changed her world. A poor farm girl that moved to the big city for college, Anna was rarely distracted from her studies until David came along during grad school. Together, they took on the world. Little did she know that their adventure would take her to the other side of the earth, and result in her losing a part of herself.
All seems to be well until the day that Anna had feared most arrived - David’s disappearance. While working on the tops of mountainous glaciers thousands of miles from their homeland, David is reported missing. Anna refuses to believe that he is dead after finding that his study of glaciers around the world was actually a guise for the study of time travel. David’s best friend and colleague, Chris, reveals the research and methods of their time travel studies and helps Anna begin her quest to find David. She soon finds the truth behind the mission – that David left the present to find another woman they believed was trapped in the past; a coworker and a friend also involved in the secretive study of time travel funded by the government through UCLA.
Anna has to decide whether or not she is ready to find the answers of why David would risk everything to go on this mission. To know if she is ready to face the Guardians of the Decades, if she will trust her own Guardian Angel, Amoriti, and if she can handle the truth of knowing her mission may render her children orphans if she fails. Will Anna be able to stand the ultimate test of time?
