Creative Brief – Book Cover Design
This brief is for the cover design (front and back) and internal layout design of the upcoming book, “The Customer Success Machine” by Guy Nirpaz
High resolution Photoshop/Illustrator print ready files of the following:
Front cover, back cover, spine
Fully copyrighted image sourcing, selection, or creation as necessary for all deliverables using either Creative Commons Commercial Use images or illustrations or originally produced images or illustrations
The book will skew to an informed audience of executives who run subscription or pay per use businesses with digital products. This audience will be relatively well informed and require a high amount of detail.
This book is will be positioned relative to other successful business books, such as High Output Management, Good to Great, Predictable Revenue.
The cover should incorporate imagery and iconography around a machine – one which is simple yet memorable. Also, the cover should have a picture of the author, Guy Nirpaz, on it.
The single most important message that the cover should convey is the idea that Customer Success is a separate, defined business function, much like a machine. A secondary message is that the author, Guy Nirpaz, is a thought leader in this space.
