NOTE: This book cover is NOT for Paperback Expert, the business that owns this 99designs account. The book cover is for Kevin Bard, who is a client of ours. So disregard the account info about our business, since it’ll lead you astray if you design based on it.
Bev Bertram and Michelle Bertram are a retirement income coach and wealth coach, respectively. They work as a mother-daughter team at Bertram Financial, helping clients plan their financial future. Their website is https://bertramfinancial.com/.
Please keep the design clean and professional. The cover should not be crowded, though elaborate designs are not necessarily bad.
FRONT COVER DESIGN
We really don’t have any ideas here. The book is about retirement. Dreams would be one theme, since the title of the book is "Creating Your DREAM Retirement”.
So be creative! I’ll give feedback both one-on-one and in group messages. If we like a particular direction, we’ll say so.
As mentioned above, keep the design clean and professional. “Messy" is not a commendatory adjective.
BACK COVER DESIGN
The back cover should harmonize with the front cover. Preferably, use a single dominant color for both the front and back cover. (Other complementary colors are of course okay too.)
BACK COVER CONTENT
[The first line is the headline, which should be set apart from the text.]
[The hyphens should be regular bullet points; they won’t display properly.]
Will Your Retirement Be a DREAM?
You’ve heard the horror stories of financial advisors with sales quotas cramming retirees’ money into inappropriate products and services without regard to their client’s retirement goals and feelings about risk. Maybe you’ve encountered the well-meaning advisor who says “You’re fine, you’ll be fine,” when asked “Will I be able to retire?” but who can’t even tell you the level of risk in your portfolio.
This is not the way Bev Bertram and Michelle Bertram operate.
Using their unique DREAM Retirement Process, Bev and Michelle will
- Help you really identify what retirement means to you, understanding that if you don’t know where you’re going, there’s no way to guarantee you’ll get there.
- Overhaul your wealth engine against leakage due to taxes, risk, hidden costs and knowledge gaps.
- Put together a solid plan of action that best serves your unique goals and dreams, including securing the legacy and values you want to leave behind.
- Stay with you over the long haul to evaluate and modify the plan where necessary to ensure the retirement income you need.
If you’re retired or getting ready to retire, or if you’re a business owner looking to position yourself to the greatest advantage, rest assured that there are solutions to every concern you may have about your retirement wealth. You can create and look forward to your DREAM Retirement.

The publisher logo is attached. Please place this in the bottom left-hand corner of the back cover. Also place it on the bottom of the spine. You may alter the color scheme to black-and-white if desired.
Leave a space on the bottom right-hand corner of the back cover clear for the barcode. It is not necessary to make one yourself, as CreateSpace will automatically add it.
