Descripción del libro
Angela, a successful attorney, decides to revisit her painful childhood in an attempt to heal from the abuse and neglect she suffered as a foster child and her conflicted relationship with her biological father, Luigi. The book chronicles her experiences in each of six placements between the ages of 5 and 16, as she grows in assertiveness and achieves. The author offers a seven step strategy to heal old emotional wounds, and shows (through Angela), that a difficult childhood does not have to hold you back or continue to haunt you.

I envision a girl of age 5 or 6, sitting at the seashore, facing the ocean with her back to us. Her hair is a light brown with golden streaks. Laying or sitting beside her is a black, long haired dog, and she has her hand on the dog. The mood is a little solemn, but not somber - more pensive. Both the girl and the dog have their eyes fixed on the water. NOTE: Feel free to use some creativity, too. Surprise me. You might have some ideas I hadn't thought of but would love.
