This is a slightly futuristic, Dystopian novel taking place in what used to be the United States. The book is called "Absolute Despotism" as taken from the Declaration of Independence. What I envision is the top portion of the book to be comprised of faded words of the Declaration of Indepence written in the background with the title emerging from the document boldly and clearly enough for the reader to easily ascertain the title. I'd like muted or drained stars and stripes somewhere in the background and for the top portion to act almost like a sky, fading into the image below. At the bottom of the cover, I'd like an image of an enormous, depressing, walled city (in the book it's nestled amongst the mountains of former Mt. Pleasant, UT). I want the feel of the book to be gritty or dirty with a depressing yet enigmatic and intriguing feel to it. Something that makes it impossible for the reader to walk away without reading the book jacket. You can have the city be shadowed or detailed and the only requirement for font is something that is easily read. You can display as much or as little of the Declaration as you see fit.
