Descripción del libro
All children are different and all children want to succeed. This book provides step-by-step guidelines for parents and professionals on finding ways of discovering Confidence & Joy in kids with learning differences, so they succeed. Happy children lead to happy adults. Too often these children have their confidence and joy robbed from them. They think of themselves as stupid or not good enough, when in actuality they are smart, they just learn differently.
Whereas many educators focus on academics, Dr. Ross-Swain and Dr. Foegl Schneider focus on finding ways for these children to shine – building communities of confidence and joy, building stellar teams for children and their parents, jump-starting confidence and joy, teaching parents to become advocates for their children, and finding support for themselves. Everyone succeeds.
