We want this to look like a kid version of a professional logbook.
We want families to want to keep this on the book shelf for years to come. This should become a part of the child's passion for aviation (and make the kid feel like we are treating them like an adult).
The imagery should make the viewer feel the book is the very best in its space.
The reader should feel they must have this book if they want their child to learn more about aviation.
It's important that this book has a simple, elegant cover but also can maybe pop off the shelf and stand out and catch the eye quickly.
The most important part of the design is that people are proud of this book in their kid's room and that they would suggest it to a friend. I am open to your design ideas.
Here are a few words that come to mind when thinking of this book: professional, motivating, blue, grey, simple, inspirational, long-term, wealth of knowledge.
I like a simple color palate. I like bold titles that you know right away what the title is and what it is about, not too busy and with simple color schemes. 2-3 colors.
