Straight to the Point: Beating The Cactus That Stuck Me
Biografía del autor
Daughter. Wife. Mommy. Sister. Friend. Teacher. Small business owner. And now author. Kristen Gault wears many hats. Joyce Meyer states it best. "You may be given a cactus but you don't have to sit on it." After being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 37, Kristen had to decide whether to let that cactus prick her or not. She began journaling her battle and sharing her story, choosing joy -- all while trusting Jesus every step of the way.
As the wife of a rodeo cowboy, and the mommy to an adventurous all-American little boy, she was determined to take the bull (of cancer) by the horns. She has raised over $15,000 at her GIVE CANCER THE BOOT fundraiser which has supported funding for a new mammography bus and wigs for cancer patients. She has a passion for helping others and their caregivers as they fight the good fight, leaning on Deuteronomy 31:6, "He will never leave us to fight alone."

6x9 inches for the paperback and about 325 pages. This book is about staying positive during the process of receiving cancer treatment and a big part of her journey is her Christian faith. So the cover needs to reflect that.
Her motto is, "You may be given a cactus but you don't have to sit on it." She already has some watercolor images of cactuses and she even has a title that she used for her blog. She is open to using different fonts, etc but really likes the look of what she already has. She really likes the watercolor look.
Honestly not quite sure what will be done with all the cactus images, but she loves them, so try to use them.
The cover needs to look light, positive, Christian.
