A personal project, meant to share stories of his youth with his children, has turned into a rediscovery of his roots. Growing up in the 1970's and 1980's Medellin of Pablo Escobar, R.D. Roldan recounts his own experiences in light of a painful period of Colombian history. The author now resides in Louisiana with his wife and 4 children.
