Descripción del libro
The book focuses on all the various aspects of selling that every entrepreneur must engage in to be successful, from pitching immediate family members and friends to presenting to angel investors and venture capitalists to selling internally to employees. The entrepreneur must constantly sell in order for the business or organization to be successful—yet many entrepreneurs (and those considering starting a business) find the idea of selling distasteful and/or fear their own inability to sell well.
Chapters of the book take the reader through various stages of the start-up and the selling challenges encountered at each stage: defining and launching a new product, understanding your customers, developing your elevator pitch, creating a sales presentation, etc. There are additional chapters on technology as well as special issues often encountered by entrepreneurs who are women, POC, and/or older/mid-career.
