This book is about bad reasoning and how to recognize it. The broader topic of the book is logic and multiple logical fallacies are covered inside.

1. Who is the primary audience (including age and gender)? Men and women aged 20 to 60 who have at least finished high school education and want to improve their reasoning ability. They want to learn how to spot bad reasoning or arguments that they encounter regularly. 2. What is their current situation? They interact with people daily – at home, in school, at work, and try to keep up with what’s happening in the world through the media. 3. What lies are they currently believing? That people they look up to must always be right and telling the truth and so they believe in whatever it is that they say. 4. What are they terrified of? What is their #1 worry in the world? That their beliefs, judgments, and decisions are bad and they will eventually regret having had them. 5. What is causing them pain – both physical and mental? What they hear in the news about the pandemic and not knowing what to believe. They are worried about their future, and how to make the right choices moving forward. 6. What is their #1 desire in the world, the thing that would make them happier than anything? The confirmation that they have made the right choices in life, in terms of their personal life, career, and life success. 7. What benefit will they get from reading our book and implementing the gathered knowledge? What changes or transformation will occur in their lives? What will their new lives be like? They will now understand better how to think more rationally and be more objective in the way they see things, particularly if they rely a lot on what other people say or do in making judgments and decisions. 8. What is their experience on the topic? They have found themselves making poor judgments calls at one time or another and have experienced satisfaction over making the ‘right’ choices. They have come across people or situations hard to understand. They also know how it feels like losing in an argument. 9. What do they care less about? Believing and following what other people say, especially if they are credible and highly persuasive. Therefore, they’d much rather learn how to navigate situations where they need to be objective and logical before rendering judgment.
