Fangs, scales and a tail never looked good on anyone.
Another home gone. Another parent dead. And now Sinopa's on the run for her life and must prove her innocence alone in a strange place.
But appearances are deceiving, and the police are the least of her worries. Because with every step she takes, someone else is watching. Something unnatural is after her...maybe even lurking beneath her skin.
And the deeper Sinopa investigates, the higher the stakes rise. More sorcerers disappear. Tensions escalate, and with every day, her humanity crumbles.
As an ancient evil resurfaces, how much will she risk saving those she loves?

Diseño de inspiración
I like the image inspiring wonder, but I feel the text is illegible.
I like the simplicity, but feel it's too happy or cartoony in the style for my story.
The like the symbology of the paper smoldering and the text being the focus, but I don't like the font, and I feel it's not really too eye-catching.
No complaints much. The image and background is beautiful. The font is legible. My only thing I might need is a stronger pull with the image.

I'd like it to not feel cluttered or heavily detailed. Maybe more minimalistic or symbolic.
I'd like it to feel intriguing, dark, and mysterious, but not too gritty. The world has been ravaged but not without hope. Within doubt lean dark though. Common themes through the book are identity, overcoming your past, and justice versus wrath if that helps any.
Common symbols are water for fear, a large mechanical door of fate/duty that only the MC can open. The antagonist is a mutant with a wolf head and broken elk antlers. The MC also grows a pair mismatched wings one bat one raven by the end so maybe you could incorporate something with feathers. I'm just giving suggestions. I don't know entirely what I want nor do I want to be too limiting. So you guys have some creative freedom on this.
I'm open to suggestions and questions. I wasn't sure how much to say in the description about the book either. I like some of the font's below, but again and open to whatever.
Lo que debe evitarse
I don't want the main character on the cover. Seeing as she's not entirely human, I feel it may be a huge turn-off. Birds, moons, and blood.
I love the duality in the image and simplicity in the font.
I liked the image of the joshua trees when I was trying to create the cover myself.
I like the pull, but I feel it's a bit too busy.
I love the color scheme here. The font's legible yet engaging, but the image in the background is lost on me.
I like the font and image work so well together, especially with the color scheme. It doesn't really match my genre though.
I love the font style, but the image in the background is meh.
I liked the duality in the image with the bird and the castle spires/towers, but don't like the font especially the "c."
