I am an ordinary Joe who, for about six months last year, drove for Uber and Lyft. By education and trade, I am a white-collar professional, a mediator and attorney at law with over thirty years’ experience. But about a year ago, due to circumstances in and out of my control, I was an attorney and mediator with a daughter’s wedding to pay for and a need for additional cash flow. So for those six months, by day I handled cases for clients and by night and weekends I drove folks wherever they needed to go.

This book is about the riders of Uber—those eclectic, eccentric folks who utilized my services from six o’clock until midnight during the week and as much as I could drive on the weekends. In just a few short months I saw it all: the good, the bad and the ugly. Driving was consistently rewarding, frustrating, humorous, heart-breaking, maddening and exciting— sometimes all in one night. Rarely boring, always entertaining.
This collection of experiences and stories is also meant to be entertaining, and I hope that the reader agrees. Oh, and everything is 100% true. That’s important because as we all know, the truth is always stranger than fiction.

The cover should be fun and cheerful. Use happy (but still readable) fonts.
