Middle School Misfits
Descripción del libro
After a humiliating incident in gym class, socially invisible sixth-grader Christopher Fitzgerald is catapulted into the nerd spotlight. Suddenly, Christopher finds himself in the cross-hairs of the nastiest bully at Chesterfield Middle School. When a social media page showing the school’s biggest misfits appears, Christopher must decide if he has what it takes to stand up and be a hero, or if he’s destined to be a zero. What happens next will change Christopher’s life forever.

I like that this cover shows potential readers that the main character has a family of robots. I also like the bright cover.
I like the bright background and simplistic design.
I like that the characters are portrayed as misfits. I do not like the dark background.
I like the bully, along with the characters attacking. I do not like the spine being a different color than the cover.

This is a humor book for reluctant middle grade readers. The cover should have a humorous feel. The premise of this book revolves around physical and cyber bullying a group of misfit nerds. Anything that would portray cyber bullying would be welcomed. The main character is an average, skinny middle schooler. The bully in this book is typical. He's huge, dumb, smelly, and has hairy knuckles.
I enjoy covers from the following titles:
Tales of a 6th Grade Muppet by Kirk Scroggs
House of Robots and Ifunny by James Patterson
The Secret Science Alliance and the Copycat Crook by Eleanor Davis
Human Body Theater by Maris Wicks
