Leading Humans is a book written for leaders of non-profit organizations that run largely on the efforts of volunteers. It's written as a challenge for leaders to tweak their leadership style in order to create more fulfillment for the people they're leading, to get more productivity out of them, and also to generate a great deal of loyalty. Although it's geared toward non-profits, it is a business management book. The idea of the book is that as a leader, you can't be strictly focused on getting shit done. You MUST start with people, individuals, humans. If you get this part right, then you'll accomplish your mission while simultaneously developing those around you. This in turn yields a healthier - and ultimately more productive - organization. The book is written in a cheeky, irreverent manner.

I'm releasing a book called "Leading Humans: how to get your volunteers to stick around, get more done, and freaking love you". It will be used both for print copies via Amazon CreateSpace as well as a Kindle edition. The print copy will be 5.5"x8.5" and the spine will be about 0.72".
I would prefer something font-driven, and I've included a few examples below. However, I am open to images so long as the design remains simple and modern. See below for this as well.
Please no images - stock or otherwise - of a man in a suit. I don't want a bunch of "clip art" style stock photos of people. I want it to be more unique than that. If you must use people in the design, think stick figures or generic outlines like a "men's restroom" look. However, I would prefer to see something modern, stark, and limited in terms of images.
I'm more concerned with a cover that sells than one that is beautifully nuanced from a design perspective. I want a cover that catches the eye and pops off the shelf. I'm drawn to stark designs, but I'm open to alternative interpretations as long as the primary title "leading humans" remains clear and prominent. I've attached some covers below that I like the direction of as a starting point.
