Book cover for print and web for book 3 in The Special Agent Jana Baker Spy-Thriller Series.
Here are the current covers for the first two books in the series.

Book 2: http://amzn.to/1L7yADr
Note that the design for book 3 does not have to match the covers of books 1 & 2. If you believe a design change is in order, by all means, please submit it. I am considering revamping the covers for books 1 & 2 if the design of the cover for book 3 warrants it.
I want the cover to reflect the expectations of the thriller genre, yet it may be valuable to consider a slight tweak to the color of the cover such that, although the cover meets the expectations of readers in this genre, it stands apart from other bestsellers by virtue of the color difference (just a thought).
About the story:
This series tells the story of a fledgling female FBI agent in the man's world of the FBI. In book 1, she uncovers the one clue that breaks the terrorism case wide open, and must face down the bomber before it's too late.
In this latest book, book 3, Agent Baker has gone through harrowing ordeals as she fights the lead terrorist. She is left with PTSD and has taken a leave of absence from the bureau. The terrorist himself begins calling her directly, taunting her over his past successes, and dropping clues as to what he's about to do next. He also taunts her about her own family history, making her question herself.
She struggles to convince the intelligence community that he's feeding them misdirection, clues that will take them away from the real target. It turns out she's right, and the misdirection leads to her being kidnapped by the terrorist. He's on his way to detonate another nuclear device on US soil and she is the only asset that is left to stop him.
Themes portrayed in the story:

-the struggle to prove her worth to herself and other agents
-the struggle against PTSD that endangers her and the agents around her (the struggle to face down her worst fears)
-coming to grips with the fact that she's never really known herself, and must find out who she really is.
Description of lead character:
