In the year 2170, hardbitten LAPD Detective Cooper Cagney keeps finding the bodies of yogis mysteriously mutilated by a rogue technology. Burnt out on the caste system and its corrupting effect on society, Cagney’s once stellar police career is in jeopardy because of his cynicism and tendency to overreact. After Cagney teams up with a new female partner and a team of yogis with supernatural powers, he is on a collision course with all of the powerful forces of 2170 Los Angeles. Can Cagney overcome both the caste system and himself to bring the perpetrators to justice before the entire world is enslaved by a rogue technology?
