Matthew “Griff” Griffin graduated the United States Military Academy in 2001 before accepting a commission into the Field Artillery. Between 2003-2005, Griff deployed four times to Iraq and Afghanistan with 2d Ranger Battalion as a Company Fire Support Officer. After departing the military in 2006, Griff worked in the defense sector which eventually led him back to Afghanistan to assist with medical infrastructure development. After witnessing the positive effects of economic growth in conflict areas, Griff co-founded Combat Flip Flops with a fellow Ranger and began the mission to manufacture peace through trade. He was recognized in 2017 as one of the top 100 Most Influential Veterans in America and in 2018 as a top 100 Global Visionary.
Leo Jenkins served multiple deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq as a US Army Ranger medic in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He is the acclaimed author of Lest We Forget: A Ranger Medic’s Story, On Assimilation: A Return From War, First Train out of Denver, With a Pen, and coauthor of Violence of Action: The Untold Stories of the 75th Ranger Regiment in the War on Terror. He studied International relations with a focus on terrorism and political violence at Indiana University and Purdue University and has traveled through over fifty countries in pursuit of a deeper understanding of the human condition.

I would like to use the person rising in the "I" of the word "Rise" or some variation of it.
I like the subdued feel. I would love to see the poppy flower in a similar subdued way.
