Mood: I need a cover that looks like a typical commercial crime fiction novel (eye-catching, gripping, compelling), but also has a subtle element of the more dramatic/dark humour/feminine side of the book.
Imagery: the book is about exposing a woman who vengefully exploits vulnerable girls through her criminal organisation called 'Princesses', and killed to protect her secret. I like the idea of using silhouettes - like a woman with a gun behind her back to represent the killer - or a young girl walking down a spooky / run-down looking street to represent the exploitation - or a combination of both.
Location Imagery: The book is set in south London; this doesn't have to be identifiable from the cover, but if location imagery is used (i.e. a girl walking down a dark street) - it should correspond with typical south London look.
Font: I have a personal preference for Internacional bold but I'm open-minded. Needs to feel modern, contemporary.
