This book is a snapshot of the last 90 days of my life - personally, professionally and globally. Having had a very rough year at work in 2019, and having panic disorder, I had to go out on disability to start a whole new round of medications. This book is meant to somewhat be the same style as a David Sedaris, humorous with real parts as well. I had already booked a cruise so I went with my family and I smuggled weed onto the boat because the alternative makes me too sleepy. Anyway, I hit my pipe on the 4th deck one day, and I just had an enlightening, basically. The work shi&, the other drama, it didn’t matter. I was alive and well as was my family. So I kicked panic’s ass on that cruise ship, on the 4th deck. I am also weaving in what’s going on with COVID-19. The book is dedicated to the people that are my lifelines - and the laugh lines, well that’s self explanatory. My initial thought - and I’m no designer, clearly, was some kind of a hybrid between Jenny Lawson’s cover art style and the Crime Junkie Podcast logo. Maybe a cruise ship with smoke coming from the 4th deck, with some pink latex gloves and a face mask slung over the side, with various sizes and colors of pills scattered about. In other words, those items sum up visually the last 90 days.
