Now, for the inside bit:
"In I.AM.VISIBLE, André Ferguson shares his truly inspiring life story, while also making it clear to us that everyone has a story, and a lot of us are experiencing horrors in our story that cause us to suffer in silence. His heart lives in his passion to do something about the shocking statistic of 13 men a day, taking their lives in the UK. That not only resonates with him, but added to his own life story and has inspired him to start "Story of Man", with the aim of helping young men acknowledge their pasts instead of burying them, learn from it, and take control of their future. He wants young men to know that they hold the pen to write their own stories, and they can regain control of the narrative.
André is aware that many have been down a similar path to him, and did not make it out of the other side. Because of this, he strongly aims to illuminate in this book the steps that anyone can follow to get support, overcoming adversity, see the lesson in their pain, face and conquer their fears and maximise their potential; so they too, can know, they are visible and they matter.
André sits on the local disability groups for Southwark, Lambeth, and does a lot of support work in the borough of Lewisham.
He has worked with: The Violence Reduction teams, BBC, ITV, The Evening Standard, multiple Y.O (Young Offender) programmes, The National Deaf Children Society, London FA, Sported and Sport England.
He is truly a man with a heart for others."
