Jennifer Walters is a Northern Minnesota author that writes about the lakes and uniqueness of where she lives. She writes women's fiction novels and this is her 5th book. This is the first book in her 3 book series.

Madeline and Brad are the perfect couple until a tragic car accident kills their 5 year old daughter and end their perfect marriage in a divorce. Madeline spends the winter grieving alone in her perfect house on the lake. She goes back to work 10 months later as the librarian at an elementary school and her ex husband just happens to be the principal. When seeing him at work is too much, she returns to the hidden pond in the forest just down the road from the school to find her solace. It was the place where she fell in love with Brad and they took their daughter to have picnics. She isn't the only one that goes there to be alone, Brad does too.

It is Women's fiction with a bit of romance. Locals read it and people who like beach reads because my books mainly take place at the beautiful lakes of Northern Minnesota. Authors I write like are Elin Hilderbrand, Kristan Higgins, Kristin Hannah, and Brenda Novak.

Forrest surrounds the small pond. Some light shining in. Writing in elegant font for name of book. Author name can be more simple and smaller than title but not too small. Spring cover.
