Descripción del libro
Literally translated title: I am more. Young refugees tell.
The so-called "refugee crisis" reached Europe in 2015, but to this day, five years later, shocking news from the EU's south-eastern external borders or from European refugee camps such as Moria in Greece continues. The issue still determines political debates and is all too often instrumentalised. Most often we forget that behind this flood of news, behind the many numbers mentioned in this context, there are individual people with individual fates.
Four students of the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg want to make these individual fates heard. They have sought dialogue with young refugees, who have meanwhile found a new home in Nuremberg and the surrounding area, in order to have their stories told, to understand them and to write them down. In close cooperation with seven young refugees from five different countries, a collection of seven moving and very personal stories were created. With these stories the young people want to show that they are more than just a number in the news.
