Descripción del libro
Are you tired of others OVERjudging you? Do men at work talk OVER you? Are you OVERachieving and still being paid less than your male colleagues? Were you passed OVER for a promotion or a plum assignment? Is it hard for you to get OVER feelings of betrayal due to sabotage by a woman? Do you struggle with OVERcommitment of your time and energy? Are you so busy that you tend to unconsciously OVERisolate yourself from others? You are not alone.
Theresa describes these experiences as O-Syndrome and offers hope as she shares stories from badass women who have OVERcome! As a follow-up to the first in the series,—O-Syndrome: When Work is 24/7 and You’re Not, this book gives voice to the “her story” experiences of women across racial and generational lines and offers up practical advice and tactics to help you overcome O-Syndrome.

Diseño de inspiración
I like the clean simple look .
I like the minimalism of the images. They impact because they are small and don't announce themselves.
I like the singular focus of a single image being the focal point while the text plays in the background.
Like that this turns convention upside down, but I don't like how big and overpowering the image has to be in order to do so.
Even though I don't like the choice of red here, I do like how color is used to give the cover a clean simple but bold presence.
¿Qué colores quieres que tenga tu diseño?
Ligeros y neutrales
Otros requisitos relativos al color
In the pink family, I like a bold, strong, confident pink that aligns with badass women and not a girly-girly pink that aligns with passive, super feminine women.
Atributos de estilo
Necesidades de diseño
Clean, simple, and modern to coincide with the book's subtitle, Real, Raw, Unapologetic. One of the main comments I use in the book to highlight how far women still have to go in terms of gender equity is that women have earned seats at the table, but the problem is that it's still HIS table. I have been working with a cover designer who just didn't catch on to the vision and was not able to deliver. The cover that was designed looked very amateur, cheap, unpolished as if I had done it myself. I have attached it as an example of what I don't want. I want something highly professional that gives no hint that it is a self-published book and can hold it's hold against any book produced by one of the major publishing houses.
Lo que debe evitarse
Please avoid anything that is too girly or too feminine, but that doesn't mean I want masculine. This book is written by, for, and about the following types of women:
I want a pop of color incorporated, preferably a badass pink that is not a soft, girly girly pink. I am open to consider fonts and styles that are aligned with all the comments I have provided thus far.
This is the copy to be used for the back cover.
This is what was produced that I am abandoning. The one thing I do like about this cover is how the gray and white shading creates the illusion of light and spotlight.
I like how this cover uses no images but manages to still have a strong presence by its use of placement of text, size of text, and font style.
I like how this one uses images to convey disparity between men and women.
