Descripción del libro
With the diagnosis of cancer and her husband scheduled for deployment, I thought that my life that my life would end from the dreaded disease and I could not survive, but it wasn’t the cancer that was destroying our life, but something or someone more destructive was threatening our family. I was taught that a person should use adversities as a step to elevate himself or herself in life. I believe that life will give you many ups and downs, and then you must decide if this is going to be an obstacle or opportunity to propel you to move forward.
For all the pain in life, I have known that God has a plan and purpose in my life; what I decided to do with the pain is my decision. This pain can move me in a direction of sadness or in the direction of survival. Pain has a purpose in life, and you can use the pain to your future, or it can paralyze you and leave you living in the past and not progress.
