I love travelling with family and friends especially kicking back in Umbria, Italy. Like many of our clients, travelling is not just a retirement goal but a dream for now as well. Our world is getting smaller and there is so much to see. I love hearing our client’s stories as they reach their financial goals and for many, the financial freedom to travel when and where they want. We all have busy lives, and let’s face it, it’s always going to be our finances that suffer first with a lack of time. That’s why we love getting the message out to all Australians on how financial advice can transform their lives for the better; helping provide real life-work balance that we all deserve. In my 30 years as a Financial Adviser, a proud moment was to have been voted National President of the Assn of Financial Advisers (AFA) in 2016. The AFA’s philosophy is ‘great advice for more Australians’; there’s a real opportunity with financial technology and the next generation of advisers to think differently and open the door for more Australians to see the benefit of financial advice. My biggest reward is the relationship we have built with our long-term clients as they fulfil their dreams, and now their adult children are becoming part of the Noall community. They have their own dreams to travel and buy their first property and hopefully we can reduce the statistic of the young with average $5,000 in card debt.

Australians in general don’t get taught about money at school or in life, and this is all about giving you the tools and tips to get back control especially as you approach retirement, whatever that may look like. As a member of the sandwich generation usually anywhere from 50s to 60s, you are in the unique position to not only be concerned with your own money problems but also being 'between' helping your adult children, and your aging parents. Lastly it lets you know there is help available, how to find them and what to look for. Importantly, give you your time back for the fun things in life rather than worry about money!
